Assistant Manager Vacancy – Pontypridd United Women (Adran Premier)

Pontypridd United Women are welcoming applications for the position of Assistant Manager to support our senior team competing in the Adran Premier, the top tier of women’s football in Wales.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and forward-thinking coach to join an ambitious club committed to long-term development, competitive performance, and a positive, high-performance environment.


About the Role

Working alongside the Head Coach, the Assistant Manager will contribute to all aspects of team preparation, including session planning and delivery, matchday coaching, analysis, and individual player development. The successful candidate will help implement the club’s game model and support a cohesive and disciplined squad environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and delivery of training sessions

  • Support tactical planning, match preparation and in-game management

  • Contribute to individual player development and performance reviews

  • Foster a professional and collaborative culture within the team

  • Support with analysis and opposition preparation as required

Requirements
  • UEFA B Licence (Essential)

  • UEFA A Licence (Preferred or currently working towards)

  • Experience coaching at senior level (preferably in the women’s game)

  • Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills

  • Availability for evening training (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and matchdays (Sundays)

  • Valid Enhanced DBS and Safeguarding certification (or willingness to obtain)
