Pontypridd United Women Announce Partnership with PlayerData
Pontypridd United Women are delighted to confirm a new partnership with PlayerData, who will become the official performance tracking provider for the senior women’s team throughout the 2025/26 season.
The partnership marks a significant step forward in the club’s commitment to raising performance standards, with PlayerData’s cutting-edge GPS technology offering real-time insights into player load, movement, and intensity for both in training and on matchdays.
Elevating Performance with Technology
By integrating PlayerData into the day-to-day programme, the coaching team will gain access to detailed metrics to better manage physical output, reduce the risk of injury, and enhance player development. The data will be used to inform everything from tactical planning to recovery protocols, ensuring that every session supports the long-term growth of the squad.
Head Coach Drew Lewis welcomed the addition:
“Bringing PlayerData into our environment is a huge move for us. It gives our players visibility into their performance and allows the staff to monitor and adapt workloads effectively. We’re determined to raise standards across the board, and this partnership supports that vision.”
A Shared Commitment to Progress
PlayerData has become one of the UK’s leading performance tracking systems, working with clubs across all levels of the game. Pontypridd United Women are proud to be joining a growing number of women’s teams embracing technology to support progress on and off the pitch.
This partnership aligns with the club’s long-term commitment to player welfare, performance development, and competitive excellence in the Adran Premier.
Fraser Campbell of PlayerData also shared his thoughts on the partnership:
“We’re delighted to be joining forces with Pontypridd United Women. The partnership shows their commitment to developing their players and coaches and we are proud to be the company that are helping them do that. Good luck this season!”
