WELCOME JONATHAN SPYROPOULOS

We’re excited to announce the appointment of Jonathan Spyropoulos to the Club as Pontypridd United Women’s Assitant Manager.

Jonathan joins us having previously worked with Barry Town United Women FC. Currently undergoing the highly regarded FAW UEFA A Licence.

Jonathan will look to assist Manager James Fishlock in preparation for the 2022/23 Season and build upon the success from last season while Fern Burrage-Male is on maternity leave until January 2023.

We caught up with James about the appointment. “I’m really pleased to bring Jon to the club as my assistant. He’s got a wealth of knowledge in the Women’s game as well as being an exceptionally talented A Licence coach."

"Jon will challenge the players, myself and the rest of the coaching staff to perform consistently well and it’s been great to see him work with the players these last few weeks.”

On his appointment Jonathan commented "I’m excited to be joining Pontypridd United Women as Assistant manager. Everyone at the club have been incredibly welcoming in these initial weeks, and the team has been nothing short of brilliant!"
