The girls have been so welcoming since I have came in, they have made me feel right at home.

We caught up with our new number 15, Anais Trinci, following Sundays Cup win against Cardiff Bluebells.
Anais, congratulations on the win, a great performance and 2 goals on your debut! How did you find the game
Yeah it was a really good game with us having possession of the ball the majority of the game and having a lot of attacking chances. We kept patient and eventually the goals came for us! The girls have been so welcoming since I have came in, they have made me feel right at home.

Contributing to the team winning and getting 2 goals on your debut must of felt good. How important was it to put in that kind of performance and come away with the 3 points?

Yes it was a very good feeling for me personally to gain that extra bit of confidence with my first start. Also as a team I thought we were all going through the phases of play and eventually that payed off later on in the match. It was great to get my first 2 goals for the club and even better that it contributed to us going through to the next round of the cup.

There’s a shortened rest for us now with a game tomorrow against Cardiff Met. How will you prepare for the game and what are you expecting from them?

We will have to recover our muscles, eat the right things and make sure we have a good amount of sleep to ensure that we are in the best condition going into a big game mid week. Cardiff Met are a side that will test us but as a team we need to dig deep and trust every one, if we do that I truly believe we can get something from this game.
