Catch up with Sunday's goal scorer Carys Bufton
We caught up with Sunday's goal scorer, Carys Bufton to get her thoughts on Sundays game and the upcoming clash against Aberystwyth.
Port Talbot is always a tough away game for us, how did you find the game?
The game was very tough as port Talbot are always competitive and well organised which made it very difficult for us to play the way we wanted to, but thankfully our hardwork paid off and we were able to find a way through.
Getting your first 90 minutes for the club must have been a great feeling, how do you feel about it?
Getting my first 90 minutes for the club was great as I felt the team trusted me, as I have not played a full game in a long time.
Grabbing an 82nd minute winner and your first goal for the club away from home to help the team team take home the 3 points must have been special, how was it?
The feeling when the ball went over the line was fantastic because I knew it meant a lot to the team as it crucially won us the game and got us the 3 points. The goal was my first for the club and hopefully I can score more throughout the season, but it is more important that the team gets the results.
Looking ahead to next weeks fixture at home vs Aberystwyth what do you expect from the game?
I expect a tough game as Aberystwyth are steadily improving as a team and I am sure they will be determined to get something from the game. However, I hope the the hard work we have put in will see us come away with the 3 points.
